So firstly I apologise for this post being so late, I like to think that Christmas is a time to relax but apparently in my life thats only in the evenings, and after a busy day I just want to lay out in my onesie with a food baby and a glass of vino.
I hope you all had a lovely New Year's Eve, I would love to know where you went and what you wore so leave your New Year's Eve Post in the comments below. I tried to get a picture of my dress but due to the availability of wine and a relaxed atmosphere I did not look my best!

So back to the reason of this post....What I got for Christmas.
It looks like I was a good girl this year because Santa came with lots of lovely gifts. I am always so grateful for the gifts I receive, whether big or small I have been brought up to appreciate the thought that went into buying it.
My Christmas Day is always a little busy. Firstly I always visit my mums grave in the morning to say Merry Christmas, back to open presents, Lunch and then drive to my boyfriends where I usually time it that I get a second pudding. Presents are then exchanged between us, his parents and his brother with the night ending in front of the TV with a glass of wine and usually picky type food on the side to munch on.

Dress from River Island. Still to wear but will do an outfit post when I do.
I love Bubble Baths and always happy to receive bath stuff. I love the Ted Baker set, the perfumes are for each month and they really reflect the smell that month. I love the Box with the miniature sets.
My New Years Resolution for this year is to take some time out and have some 'Me' time so my magazines, book, PJ's will go nicely with the Hot Chocolate and Hershey's Chocolate.

Also got a new onesie with matching bootie slippers which I have lived in over Christmas. I also got a few new pair's of PJ's.

I love my Bags so was happy to get 3 this year. I got a Large Handbag which is Gorgeous. Black with Red lining and leopard print sides as well as a gold clutch and Burgundy smaller Clutch/Purse

As much as I say I do not need anymore perfume as I have a very large collection, I certainly wont be disappointed to receive a new one especially one that I have smelt so many times in House of Fraser. Even the black box that it came in was pretty with a cute little bow.

Lastly my Dad gave me a card and when I opened it, he had laminated a piece of paper saying that he was paying for me and my boyfriend to go away for a long weekend. We just had to pick where we wanted to go. This to me was probably my best present as it was such a nice gesture and I admit I got a little teary as he knows that we do not get to spend much time together due to his work commitments (being self employed) and anytime we do have together usually ends up involving work of some sort.

I have already seen a lot of Christmas posts but in case I missed yours, send me your links in the comments below.

One Last thing to say.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Sorry it's a day late, wasn't feeling very well yesterday and ended up spending the day in bed with a migraine.
I said last week that I would start a weekend Manicure Monday Post. However my polish from last week has lasted well with no chips so I haven't changed them. So instead I thought I would do a post on colours and nail wraps I've seen and like.
Firstly I think for a really fun nail you can't go wrong with nail wraps, I always buy my friends and goddaughter some really funky ones as a little stocking filler.  I've seen these Ted Baker That's a Wrap floral nail wraps in Boots and my goddaughters Xmas present this year is ted baker themed (makeup brushes, makeup bag, pencil case) so I'll be adding these to them.
Also for next year in Easter or Summer I think the Bada Bloom Flower Manicure by Ciate is great, I would need some assistance but I'm sure the end result would be great.

I really like the colours on the Ciate Dolls House Set, as I've said previously I'm not one for dark colours so this is perfect for me.
For the winter season I think the Nails Inc The Alexa Editions Collection is really fun as it had the glittery polishes as well as flat colours if you want to add a little bit of sparkle to nails.

Finally some colours I like
Top left- Butter London Polish in saucy-jack, perfect to wear with a little black dress at the Christmas party.
Bottom right- Butter London in nail tart with a heart, I love a sparkle and this would great as 2 coats or as a top coat to a light shade.
The nail polishes of all nail polishes which I'm adding to my Christmas list, Christian louboutin The Nudes Alta Perla Nail Colour. This is a classic shade for a classic brand.

I love this time of the year for many reasons but mainly because I can hang the coat up in the wardrobe and move the jumpers to the back of my wardrobe and bring forward the pastels, whites, tees, shorts and skirts. I love the trends for this SS14. Over the years i've learnt to dress to what suits me even though sometimes I see something I love and I have to buy even if its something that I wouldn't usually go for, but i guess thats fashion.
So to my Wish List.... and I am sure you can now see what my wardrobe consist off. Pastels, Patterns and little details.
I think everyone needs the nice dress as there is always a family occasion/wedding/event in the summer months.

Wedge heels are a Must Have for summer. They are casual but add height and can be dressed down and up with shorts and a tee or a summer dress.

A Maxi Dress can be worn all day and never look out of place, again dress down with flipflops and dress up with heels and a nice necklace and bracelet.

I love seen the Zara Bag on a lot of blogs now, it sold out in shops but I have found one on Ebay!

I am guilty of loving and owning a coloured Court shoe and these one by Ted Baker immediately caught my eye, straight away I thought what I could wear them with.

Daisy Trim Skater Dress | Butterfly Blossom Jumpsuit | Floral Shorts | Sequin Skirt | Maxi Dress | Beaded Dress | Patterned Heels | Wedges

What's caught your eye this season?
