So firstly I apologise for this post being so late, I like to think that Christmas is a time to relax but apparently in my life thats only in the evenings, and after a busy day I just want to lay out in my onesie with a food baby and a glass of vino.
I hope you all had a lovely New Year's Eve, I would love to know where you went and what you wore so leave your New Year's Eve Post in the comments below. I tried to get a picture of my dress but due to the availability of wine and a relaxed atmosphere I did not look my best!

So back to the reason of this post....What I got for Christmas.
It looks like I was a good girl this year because Santa came with lots of lovely gifts. I am always so grateful for the gifts I receive, whether big or small I have been brought up to appreciate the thought that went into buying it.
My Christmas Day is always a little busy. Firstly I always visit my mums grave in the morning to say Merry Christmas, back to open presents, Lunch and then drive to my boyfriends where I usually time it that I get a second pudding. Presents are then exchanged between us, his parents and his brother with the night ending in front of the TV with a glass of wine and usually picky type food on the side to munch on.

Dress from River Island. Still to wear but will do an outfit post when I do.
I love Bubble Baths and always happy to receive bath stuff. I love the Ted Baker set, the perfumes are for each month and they really reflect the smell that month. I love the Box with the miniature sets.
My New Years Resolution for this year is to take some time out and have some 'Me' time so my magazines, book, PJ's will go nicely with the Hot Chocolate and Hershey's Chocolate.

Also got a new onesie with matching bootie slippers which I have lived in over Christmas. I also got a few new pair's of PJ's.

I love my Bags so was happy to get 3 this year. I got a Large Handbag which is Gorgeous. Black with Red lining and leopard print sides as well as a gold clutch and Burgundy smaller Clutch/Purse

As much as I say I do not need anymore perfume as I have a very large collection, I certainly wont be disappointed to receive a new one especially one that I have smelt so many times in House of Fraser. Even the black box that it came in was pretty with a cute little bow.

Lastly my Dad gave me a card and when I opened it, he had laminated a piece of paper saying that he was paying for me and my boyfriend to go away for a long weekend. We just had to pick where we wanted to go. This to me was probably my best present as it was such a nice gesture and I admit I got a little teary as he knows that we do not get to spend much time together due to his work commitments (being self employed) and anytime we do have together usually ends up involving work of some sort.

I have already seen a lot of Christmas posts but in case I missed yours, send me your links in the comments below.

One Last thing to say.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Hello girls,

So the lovely MJ over at mjintheskywithglitter nominated me for the Autumn Tag that she had just done. This is the first that I had seen of this so was excited to find out what it was all about.

So I have already done 2 posts on this new season and just written a Guest Post for Amanda at dreamingxpretty and have seen shops now stocked with their knitwear, coats, scarfs and boots so I'm totally ready to enjoy Autumn and now this tag.

1. Coffee - What's your favourite seasonal drink from Starbucks or any other coffee shop?

I mentioned this in my "Why I love Autumn" post. Im a lover of Costa and I look forward to their seasonal drinks for Autumn/Christmas. My favourite is the Gingerbread Latter followed closely by a Cinnamon Latte.

 2. Accessories - What do you opt for, scarf, boots or gloves?

I think I'm more of a lover of Boots. I have a beautiful pair of black riding boots, Casual Chelsea boots and cut out blocked heel boots and also a pair of brown leather high leg heeled boots. Depending what and why I'm going I have a variety to choose from.

3. Music - What's your favourite music to listen to during autumn?

I don't have specific favourite autumnal tunes, I kind of just listen to whatever is on the radio, music channels.

4. Perfume - What's your favourite scent for this time of the year?

I wouldn't say I have a favourite scent for Autumn. I have lots of different perfumes, my recent purchase being the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream. I love Miss Dior and Dior Addict 2. I prefer and suit the more fruity and floral scents. However I did have the Dior Addict which I alway thought had a deep scent so therefore only used in the evenings which I can now associate with winter.

 5. Candles - What scents will you be burning this season?

I think everyone will agree that a Yankee Candle is a must for scented candles. I smelt the Spiced Orange Jar Candle in Clintons at the weekend and oh it was divine, the only thing that stopped me was they only had the small jar and I love the big jars more.

6. What do you love the most about autumn?

So I will briefly mention just a few things but for more check out my Why I love Autumn post. I love the chunky Knitwear, having an excuse for early film nights, drinking lots of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and getting ready for halloween and firework night.

7. Favourite make up look?

This season we can go darker without getting strange looks. Ill be wearing my red lips a lot more than my pinks. I swear by my Rimmel Kate moss Lasting Finish lipstick. Also a darker smokey eye makeup than the neutral or pink smokey eyes.
I also really like Sleek Makeup i-divine Eyeshadow Palette in Oh So Special because you have the combination of the light neutral beiges and pinks with the darker browns, blues and plums. This will be a purchase in the next week or so, I will do swatches of the colours so you can see.

8. What are you looking forward to the most in autumn?

As much as I love summer so i can get my legs out in shorts, wear cute vests and be able to sit outside at 8pm in the evening not shivering, I do like getting snug inside wearing a chunky knit and watching a film not thinking its a waste of the evening as its only dark and cold outside.

However I dislike wearing a coat out shopping and then when your in a shop your body temperature is slowing rising to an uncomfortable heat because shops feel it necessary to create a heat wave inside and you just need to get back outside before you faint. I guess it saves money but its also annoying if you generally want to buy something.

I hope you've all enjoyed reading the tag, I look forward to reading:

So this is my first post as part of the Let's Talk Blog Challenge by Sarah at At The Beauty Desk  as I only started my blog up a week ago. I really liked this topic as I was remembering back to my first date with my now boyfriend of nearly 4 years.
So Tips I would give to survive the First Date.

1. Think about your Makeup
If its Day Date go for the Natural "flawless" look. If its a Night time Date you can go for the more glitzy look but still do not overdo it.

2. Your favourite Perfume
Pick your favourite and take with you for a top up later in the date.

3. Nice Polished/Manicured Nails
Make sure you have either painted or at least manicured nails as you would be surprised how much your hands are on show.
 4. Hair
Keep it simple

5. What am I going to wear?
Think about what your going to wear a few days before not on the day
Sometimes a pair of skinny jeans, nice top, Blazer and heels is just as nice as a dress. Again you want to look like some effort has gone in but not OTT again. Also you need to make sure that if you get hot or cold wherever you may be you have an option to put or take off a layer of clothes.

6. Shoes

Wear shoes that suit the date. I think wearing the mega heels to a day date is OTT.
A pair of boots, casual wedge, ballet pumps, converse (if your not a heel person) is ok for day time. Night date you can get away with the heels but make sure they are your comfy pair as you do not want to worry about having sore feet if you end up going somewhere else after.

7. Picking your meal

I think any girl knows do not get anything messy or complicated to eat!

Let me know what you think

So it's a well known fact by my family and friends that I am a lover of perfume, I have a selection in my room, a selection in the bathroom and again at my boyfriends house. I don't know what I'll do when we move into our own little house soon! I will be doing a post on Summer Fragrance so keep a look out for that.

This morning I decided as I haven't worn it in a while to put on Chanel Coco Mademoiselle. As soon as I put it on my love for Chanel came rushing back. It's a fragrance that is simply timeless. It is so fitting with the weather today with it being light and fresh.

Usually by now I would have topped up my perfume but not with Chanel, it's long lasting and the smell does not fade. I have had work friends ask what perfume I'm wearing and I'm proudly saying Chanel.  It's certainly a perfume that injects confidence into you.

Also I cant help but keep the empty bottles of this as I think the bottle is just so pretty.

Do you have a love for Chanel? If not what's your favourite perfume?

XO
