So this dress was suppose to be for my holiday but I saw it hanging up looking all breezy and cool in my wardrobe this morning that I thought it could have a pre holiday wear to dust off the cobwebs plus I need something to survive this glorious yet overwhelming heat.

Now I love sunshine and I love hot weather but not when I'm stuck in a office with the weakest air con that may as well just be switched off completely. Also I have no pool to dive into or at least sit on the edge/stairs with my book and a strawberry daiquiri or a peach Bellini (or possibly both, like I would do that!?!) within a fingers reach. I NEED MY HOLIDAY!

So back onto the main reason for this post, the dress. Brought in Miss Selfridge (Oxford Street) in the sale for £10, Bargain! Known as their Floral Lace Slip Dress, it's floral patterned with delicate lace detail about the neck line and hem. It also has adjustable straps which I find really handy having quite a petite frame. Now I've checked online and I can no longer see it but if you go to a big store they may still have as I only brought 2 weeks ago. However, I brought from their petite range so I'm unsure whether it's sold in the regular (I can't imagine it wouldn't be)

How are you surviving this British Heatwave?

I love this time of the year for many reasons but mainly because I can hang the coat up in the wardrobe and move the jumpers to the back of my wardrobe and bring forward the pastels, whites, tees, shorts and skirts. I love the trends for this SS14. Over the years i've learnt to dress to what suits me even though sometimes I see something I love and I have to buy even if its something that I wouldn't usually go for, but i guess thats fashion.
So to my Wish List.... and I am sure you can now see what my wardrobe consist off. Pastels, Patterns and little details.
I think everyone needs the nice dress as there is always a family occasion/wedding/event in the summer months.

Wedge heels are a Must Have for summer. They are casual but add height and can be dressed down and up with shorts and a tee or a summer dress.

A Maxi Dress can be worn all day and never look out of place, again dress down with flipflops and dress up with heels and a nice necklace and bracelet.

I love seen the Zara Bag on a lot of blogs now, it sold out in shops but I have found one on Ebay!

I am guilty of loving and owning a coloured Court shoe and these one by Ted Baker immediately caught my eye, straight away I thought what I could wear them with.
