We were very kindly gifted the Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm at our #nyLDNmeet for our gift bags.

I have shade #130 Tease which is a vibrant coral orange. This is a bright vibrant orange which is a colour I would usually avoid but I thought it would be fun for summer and I need something to distract the eyes away from the baby bump!
The colour is near opaque but very pigmentated so you can add more coats to suit and depending on how coats you add this can last more than half the day.

The texture of the balms are meant to be moisturising as they have been infused with Shea, Mango and Coconut Butter. They are certainly this and you feel the buttery texture when applying but it is not the sticky texture that you can get with some lipstick.

They do also have the Matte Balm which goes on with a velvety texture but still infused with the balm for moisture.

They come in a jumbo Lip Crayon which makes it really easy to apply and gives great coverage and has a twist end to reveal more of the product when it is running low. I really like that each Lacquer Balm is coloured in a mirrored plastic of the lip colour. Not only is this quick and convenient to help find amongst the other lipsticks we have in our makeup bags but also looks sleek and elegant.

I can't help but wonder whether the idea behind the ColorBurst Lip Crayons came from Clinique's Chubby Stick Range.
Even so I loved the idea of the chubby Lip Crayon's and it certainly draws my attention at makeup counters.

Have you tried Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm? What shade are you using? I'm looking to expand my collection and would love your suggestions on other colours.

This season is all about the Berry vampy lips. I've moved my summer colours to the back and moved forward the more darker A/W shades for this season.

When it comes to lipstick I stick to a brand that I've used before. I love clinique's collection and every season they bring out amazing shades to suit all skin tones so without being too surprised I've picked out 5 of my favourite shades that I'll be wearing this A/W. Also I've included by trusty red lip, this has made me feel human after a long 10 hour flight (I'm ex Cabin Crew so appearance was important, as much as I was wishing for sleep I couldn't look it).

 I came across this post a while ago just have not had the chance until now to do it. So the challenge is to use 5 products to make a day/night makeup look.
I have gone for a day look,this would usually be a work or daytime weekend look.
At first I wondered whether this could be achieved using 5 products only but whilst getting ready and getting the products out I realised that this is a daily amount of products that I use minus 1 or 2 products.

I have done a video of this look on my new Youtube channel as it demonstrates better than pictures my makeup routine (This would have been my second but for some reason my TMI Tag has been deleted, so need to redo that one)

My Five Products;
1. SEVENTEEN Stay Time Concealer in Fair
