This season is all about the Berry vampy lips. I've moved my summer colours to the back and moved forward the more darker A/W shades for this season.
When it comes to lipstick I stick to a brand that I've used before. I love clinique's collection and every season they bring out amazing shades to suit all skin tones so without being too surprised I've picked out 5 of my favourite shades that I'll be wearing this A/W. Also I've included by trusty red lip, this has made me feel human after a long 10 hour flight (I'm ex Cabin Crew so appearance was important, as much as I was wishing for sleep I couldn't look it).
So first on my Swatch is the Wow Voilet, strong dramatic purple with pink undertone.
Next is Pure Posh, a bronzey shade with pink/nude shimmer through it.
These are part of the Colour Surge Collection. They are long lasting and moisturing for the lips. This collection has since been discontinued in the UK. I brought whilst in America a year ago.
Middle on my Swatch is Berry Freeze, leaves a long lasting creamy matte texture.
Next is Sweet Violet, a glossy dark pink tone with SPF15. This is lighter than the others but I think suitable for work as it has the colour but is not to dark.
Lastly out my Clinique favourites is Honey Red, a golden red made with the caramel undertones.
Now I need to say Thank you to Rimmel collaborating with Kate Moss. Without that, this lipstick may not have been born and without this I would have looked like a pale ghostly figure of myself after a long 10 hour. However thanks to my trusty friend Shade 01 Long Lasting Lipstick I was able to say goodbye to my passengers in a cheerful way and walk through the terminal towards the ever welcoming exit sign with some sort of glamorous look still. For that I will be forever thankful to this lipstick.
Even now when i want that glamorous wow factor on a night out or a statement lip I reach towards it.
