I recently found my Dr Feelgood Mattifying Balm by Benefit after having misplaced it amongst my makeup products. I forgot just how much I love this stuff!
If you suffer from that dreaded shiny face at mid-day I would get yourselves down to your local Benefit counter and get a tub of Dr Feelgood!
It is perfect for the upcoming summer and a must have in your holiday makeup bag when you are wanting to control the oil and shine for those work meetings (if we aren't lucky enough to have good air-con) or holiday selfless.

Hello Lovelies, so if you follow me on Twitter and Bloglovin you will know that I am away on my Summer holiday in Turkey for 2 weeks. Instead of leaving you all with noting to read I had asked Amanda from dreamingxpretty if she would kindly do a guest post for me. I love her blog and writing style and am always inspired after reading her posts so please check her blog out!

First of all I'd just like to say hi to all you lovely followers of Amy. It's Amanda here from over at dreamingxpretty.blogspot.co.uk, Amy has kindly asked me to do a guest post for her whilst she is away and I must say I am completely honoured to have been chosen to do this!

I came across this post a while ago just have not had the chance until now to do it. So the challenge is to use 5 products to make a day/night makeup look.
I have gone for a day look, this would usually be a work or daytime weekend look.
At first I wondered whether this could be achieved using 5 products only but whilst getting ready and getting the products out I realised that this is a daily amount of products that I use minus 1 or 2 products.

I have done a video of this look on my new Youtube channel as it demonstrates better than pictures my makeup routine (This would have been my second but for some reason my TMI Tag has been deleted, so need to redo that one)

Last month I went to a wedding and that day I popped into town to get another blusher from the Benefit counter in our local Debenhams. Whilst I was looking one of the girls asked whether I might like my Makeup done. Well It would have been rude not to take up her offer plus I was only going to be going home and getting ready and thought as it was an occasion it might be nice to get it done professionally for a change.
Makeup done

Whilst she was working her magic on me, she asked whetherI used primer? Now on a daily basis, No I do not however if I'm going out with the girls or on a date night yes I do. However I had never tried the benefit stay-dont-stray primer for the eye area.

This primer can be used be make concealers and eyeshadows stay put. The concealer will not crease and eyeshadows will stay bright and vibrant all night long.
Shade Light/medium was used in my skin.

The Primer comes in a pump applicator which is really good as it gives just the right amount and it stops any leaking in the makeup bag.

Needless to say I went back the weekend after and purchased after brilliant results that night.I had been at the weekend all afternoon/evening and my eye makeup stayed as it was from when I left town.
