I went into Boots and had a look at their foot scrubs & creams. I decided to go for the 'Hoof' range mainly because the packaging looked quirky and fun and for £2.99 for a 28g tube I felt it was not badly priced.
I brought the Foot Polish which said that "it would polish away dry skin for soft pretty feet" Sold instantly when I saw the wording pretty!
Directions of use; Squeeze a small amount into the palm of your hand and rub into feet. Dry, flaky skin will roll off as you massage the foot polish into the skin leaving the feet soft and polish. Rinse hands and feet thoroughly after use.
After I rubbed the polish into my feet for a few minutes I used the Ped Egg for a harder scrub of any dry/dead skin. I am yet to invest in another foot spa so instead used a bowl with a few drops of foot soak. A Foot Soak not only cleanses the feet but is also designed to soak away the stress in tried feet so take 10 minutes to totally relax. After the foot bath, Remove, pat dry and apply another thin layer of scrub to remove any excess dry/dead skin.
Finish off this foot pampering regime by applying a rich moisturising lotion and then put on a pair of old socks and let the moisturiser soak into my feet overnight. In the morning feet are silky soft and deeply moisturised.
A Foot Mask is a deep moisturising mask designed to infuse intense moisture to the heels and soles of the feet if you feel this is needed for yours.
Finish off by cutting/filing toe nails. Use a cuticle stick to push back your cuticles, use a cuticle trimmer to cut away excess skin that builds up. Apply a cuticle cream/oil. Buff away the rough edges and ridges on the nail paying particular attention to where you have trimmed your nails. Apply a base coat, followed by your favourite colour nail polish and lastly a top coat for shiny pretty toe nails.
