So I came across this tag reading Jessica's blush crush blog at blush-crushh and as a girl of my own kind I had to do this tag (I hope you don't mind lovely) As a lover of shoes I felt that this tag suits me down to the ground.

1. Heels or Flats?

- I prefer Heels, I feel that little more dressed up wearing them. I wear heels to work and for nights out but for just popping into town a pair of ballet pumps suits me, no need to worry about sore feet whilst shopping!

2. What are your go-to shoes?

- A pair of simple patent court shoes with pointed toe and stiletto heel.

3. What's your favorite shoe trend at the moment?
- The cute skinny strappy sandal like the ones from TOPSHOP  in this summers colour of Coral and also Platform Wedge

4. What's your least favavorite shoe trend?
- Birkenstock, Chelsea Boot and cleated sandals. Some people can carry these off, but these shoes in particular I don't think I can.

5. What's your most expensive shoe?
- Usually I do not buy very expensive shoes, however I brought a pair of black riding boots from Jones Bootmakers last winter for £150 and they are still look as good as when I got them even after a lot of wear in the winter.

6. What are your most wanted pair?

Dream Shoes!
- I dream of owning a pair of classic Pigelle Christian Louboutin and also a pair of Jimmy Choo. They are both a timeless shoe and would add glamour to even a dull outfit. For now I'll admire in Selfridges.

7. What's your most embarrassing shoe story?
- I don't think I have one to tell.

8. Pick a shoe and share a story.
- I brought these last year before I went on holiday from Kurt Geiger and convinced myself that I must buy them by saying I needed a pair of shoes for the travelling/airport. This is the story of a Shoeaholic, who buys a pair of shoes just for the airport/travelling... Me.

9. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
- 30

10. When was the first time you wore heels?
- It would have been at one of my School Discos when I was at Secondary School.

11. How much do you spend on shoes?
Gold Glittery Ted Baker Court Heel worn to a wedding
- Depends whether I get in the sale but usually between £25-£75 depending on why I get them and the type of shoe and if it's an occasion such as my favourite Ted Baker Glitter Heels

Brought these to wear with an outfit for a Work christmas Party,
Again Ted Baker Court Heel
12. Where are your favorite places to buy shoes?
- I really like New Look as they also had the latest trends and such a large collection to pick from but i also like Zara, Ted baker, Next (Summer Sandals) and Topshop. I have also recently brought a pair of sandals from misguided for my holiday.

13. Do you have a pair of shoes you regret purchasing?
- Whilst at university and being the poor student I brought a pair of shoes from Primark. They were a pale pink/pinky nude colour with a double bucket strap, very pointed toe and wooden heel! After one night of wear they scuffed and the material came off the shoe, safe to say these were well and truly hidden in the depth of our bin.

14. Show your favourite pair of shoes.
- These Coral Sandals are from new look, I brought them at the end of summer last year in the sale. I love them because of the summery colour, wedge heel, t-bar and cute detailing at the front. Also they are really comfy to walk in.

So this is my first post as part of the Let's Talk Blog Challenge by Sarah at At The Beauty Desk  as I only started my blog up a week ago. I really liked this topic as I was remembering back to my first date with my now boyfriend of nearly 4 years.
So Tips I would give to survive the First Date.

1. Think about your Makeup
If its Day Date go for the Natural "flawless" look. If its a Night time Date you can go for the more glitzy look but still do not overdo it.

2. Your favourite Perfume
Pick your favourite and take with you for a top up later in the date.

3. Nice Polished/Manicured Nails
Make sure you have either painted or at least manicured nails as you would be surprised how much your hands are on show.
 4. Hair
Keep it simple

5. What am I going to wear?
Think about what your going to wear a few days before not on the day
Sometimes a pair of skinny jeans, nice top, Blazer and heels is just as nice as a dress. Again you want to look like some effort has gone in but not OTT again. Also you need to make sure that if you get hot or cold wherever you may be you have an option to put or take off a layer of clothes.

6. Shoes

Wear shoes that suit the date. I think wearing the mega heels to a day date is OTT.
A pair of boots, casual wedge, ballet pumps, converse (if your not a heel person) is ok for day time. Night date you can get away with the heels but make sure they are your comfy pair as you do not want to worry about having sore feet if you end up going somewhere else after.

7. Picking your meal

I think any girl knows do not get anything messy or complicated to eat!

Let me know what you think
XO
