My Five Beauty Must Haves Under £5
I have picked items that are always in our Bathroom or brought straight away if I run out. £5 may not sound a lot when it comes to beauty but it can be done and the products can be just as good as those luxury brands in my opinion depending on what it is.
I buy the majority of my beauty products from the hight street such as Boots or Superdrug (unless I am having a beauty spree).
Hair Must Haves
I always have a can of Batiste Dry Shampoo handy. Firstly for the times when I haven't had the chance to wash my hair because I'm either in a rush or I've just gone into full mum mode and it's the last of my priorities. Secondly, it is brilliant to spray a little and backcomb for some volume if you're going out.
I love that they do different scents as well, I'm forever mixing it up and going for what reflects my mood that day (I was obviously wishing for a holiday when i brought this can).
This has been a life saver for me recently as Harrison keeps insisting on either being sick on me just as we are walking out the door or sticking my hair in his mouth!! Its nice to feel/smell like I have clean hair when really the reality is far from.
Makeup Must Haves
A good Primer will ensure your makeup is good to go from day to night by creating a perfect base for foundation. It creates a smooth base by mattifying the skin and smoothing out skin texture helping reduce pore size to ensure a flawless look.
I highly recommend a weekly face mask to nourish, clean and clear your face of all the impurities that have built up over the week leaving healthy glowing skin . I personally use the Montagne- Jeunesse Face Masks as they have a wide variety to choose from i.e mud, peel off, scrub, Sauna and they suit all skin types.
I'm not one to get spots and I honestly think it is due to using face masks on a weekly basis (usually a Sunday night when there's nothing to do or nowhere to go) as well as my daily skincare routine.
