Eye Balms

On a daily basis I will use No7's Beautiful Skin Overnight Revitalising Eye Balm (£12.00/15ml) as part of my night time skincare routine.
I can use numerous makeup products to cover dark circles and highlighter to brighten my eyes but this does not disguise the puffy eyed look from waking up for night time feeds every 3-4 hours.

Applying the Revitalising Eye Balm on a daily basis has helped reduce the puffiness and kept it manageable and also reduced any irritation from everyday elements all down to it's cooling and soothing gel. I only use a pea sized amount and spread evenly under the eye and find it leaves a generous amount to soak in overnight.

I use Garnier's Caffeine Eye Roll-On (£10.49/15ml) once a week (usually a sunday) mainly to massage my eyes with the built in roller. Knowing that massages encourage the drainage of fluids, the roller helps stimulate circulation (not doing when applying No7's Eye Balm) and by doing so reduces the appearance of the dreaded eye bags!!
Caffeine has also been proved to help reduce puffiness, hence the Beauty secret of steeped teabags over the eyes.

Brightening Cream

I first came across the brand MooGoo Skincare at an event (nyLDNmeet) I was hosting in London with Lauren (Blog) and Tamsyn (Blog). Some of my readers may have attended this event and may have also tried and tested their products, if this is you would love to know what products you use now.
I have been using the Brightening Cream (£16.90/75g) since I was halfway through my pregnancy as I found my skin was getting very dull. I have continued to use this as part of my Skincare Routine 2-3 days a week. This has helped hydrate my skin as it also acts as a moisturiser.
I am unsure whether my skin appears brighter because I have been able to protect my skin with an extra barrier so it does not get dull and dry or whether it is the product alone.

Night Cream

I use No7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream (13.50/50ml) for dry/very dry skin as my nightly moisturiser. Although it has a thick consistency I find it light when on my skin and non oily leaving my skin feeling instantly soft. The added Rosehip oil helps lock in moisture making it the ideal night cream as it allows 8 hours to soak in without any interference to the skin.

Moisturiser

On a daily basis I use Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. I started using this product when my mum used it and I was at the age that I started getting interested in looking after my skin properly. This is voted as one of their top sellers and I could not agree more. It is light and non greasy leaving my skin feel soft and evenly protected.
I use one/two big pumps which dispenses a generous amount to evenly cover my whole face before applying my makeup.

Clarifying Lotion

As part of my day/night time skincare routine I use Clinique's Clarifying Lotion 2 (£26.50/400ml). This is a gentle exfoliating lotion that de-flakes any dead skin to reveal the clearer skin underneath. I tend to use this twice weekly, once in the morning mid week and on a sunday evening. I follow by applying the Moisturizing Lotion or the No7 night cream.
Using this leaves my skin feeling fresher as I know it has removed all dirt, dead skin and oiliness that has formed on my skin.

These are the products that I feel leave me with a refreshed look so much so that I have been complimented that I am looking good for a new mum. It takes only a few minutes as part of my day/night time skin care routine which I can do when Harrison is still asleep.
It is also my form of normality before mummy mode/life kicks in when Harrison awakes so I enjoy spending those few minutes on me.

If you use any products that you think I should try I would love to hear as I am alway open to trying out new brands and products.

Don't forget to follow me on bloglovin to stay up to date with my posts, I have been preoccupied settling into a mummy and Harrison routine but it's getting better and I promise more regular posts.
