Gender Reveal!!

It sounds really silly but all of yesterday I had a feeling in my stomach that reminded me of being little again. It was like over excitement like when I found out I was going to Disney World for the first time those many years ago and I just wanted to run around, tire myself out so I could fall asleep and wake up the following day for the airport. Then this morning I was even worse, I started to get all teary on the way to work just thinking that in a few hours time we'll know. Anyway enough of that... 

My scan was at midday and we were both smiling like Cheshire cats going into the hospital, then I stupidly said "I'm here for my scan" whilst stood at the scan reception desk!! I mean why else would I firstly be in that building (known as maternity) and secondly stood at that particular reception..blonde/baby brain moment. 

One of the first things we said was "will we get to know today!?!" Of which her reply was "if baby behaves". Now knowing that it was very active the last time I gave my belly a poke and said behave. 

She was talking through the scan and saying that's the head, arms, legs etc but I know from looking at Chris we just wanted to know if it was a boy or girl. 

I swear she hung it out till the very end to tell us and when she did....OMG I have never seen Chris so happy and I just knew it was! So if you haven't caught up on my latest baby posts... My mothers intitution was right.... 

WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!! 

We couldn't be happier and family are just as excited. The wait is over and we can all start to shop for our little baby boy. I just know he'll be a proper lads boy but with a gentle and kind heart. I can't wait to October now to actually see him. 

This is going to be one spoilt boy I can just see it.
