Beauty Prep for New Years Eve

by - Tuesday, December 30, 2014

This time tomorrow we will all be dressed up, makeup done to perfection and a drink in hand. I have my New Year Dress ready, brought before Christmas from Boohoo. I wasn't very well last New Year, saw 2014 in asleep so thats why this year I have gone all out.

So I started tonight by running myself a Bubble Bath, lit my Candles and applied my Face mask. I followed this by applying my hair mask (forgot to mention I wet my hair before applying my face mask) tied my hair up into a topknot and relaxed for a while my face mask set.

After I washed my face mask off I started to scrub my body with the Soap & Glory Scrub using my exfoliating glove. After a rinse, its time to moisturise. I use the Body Shop Body Butters as they smell delicious and go on my skin so evenly. I use the Palmers Cocoa Butter on my elbows and knees as they tend to be the dry areas on my body.

As many of you have probably done, I then stood around in my bedroom waving my arms and legs around like it is going to dry them faster. I always make sure the moisturiser is dry before applying tan as its easier to apply the tan plus you don't run the risk of streaks so much. I wait until tomorrow morning/afternoon to apply another "coat" before I head to my boyfriends, get dolled up and head out.

It is not a massive night out, just to the pub next to his house but theres a disco there, walking distance for the walk/stumble home, locals and cheap drink. Its about who your with not where you are that makes a night I think.

Leave your links below, would love to see what you will be wearing and how you've prepared to see in 2015.
