Review | Olay eye makeup remover

It is a well known fact that we should remove all trances of makeup before bed. If we ignore this beauty regime the end results are not pretty. 

Bigger blocked pores leading to acne breakout, eye irritation from flaking mascara and dull dry skin from starving our skin of oxygen. 

Now we all like a quick and easy solution and whats quicker than reaching for a makeup wipe. However I was starting to notice that when I was taking my eye makeup off I was having to rub a little more and therefore it was damaging my eyelashes. Therefore I went on the hunt for a gentle eye makeup remover. 

After looking through all the shelves of brands in Boots I found Olay http://www.boots.com/en/Olay-Essentials-Eye-Makeup-Remover-For-Normal-Dry-and-Combination-Skin-100ml_956135/. It was £2.99 for 100ml which I was surprised at with how well known and popular this brand is. 

It isn't a brand that I had used in the past but my mum has used their products and she has lovely soft young skin so I thought I would give it a try. 

I have using this now for a month and I can honestly say I will definitely be buying this product again. You only need a pea size on a cotton pad, a few gentle wipes on the lids and few sweeps on the lashes and all is off. I have noticed a massive difference in the thickness of my lashes and the product is gentle on the eyes.
