Facial Loofahs or Exfoliator Glove?
I believe that Facial Loofahs are far more better for facial exfoliating and cleansing than using a glove. They come as thin pads about the same size as a cotton wool pad.
I use the Botanics Facial Loofah from Boots, they are £2.75 for a pack containing 5 Loofahs. When soaked they soften and enlarge.

One side is rough for handling, the other is softer for exfoliating. |
In the past I simply used an exfoliating glove with a facial scrub to exfoliate my face, however I found that the glove was too rough for my skin as it left it red and irritated afterwards.
I first saw the Facial Loofahs in Bodyshop and enquired about them and decided to give them a try as they would be more gentle for my face. I would now not go back to using a glove on my face after using the Loofahs for some time now.
To Use: Place or run a Loofah under warm water, at the same time dampen your skin. You will notice that the Loofah will expand slightly. I normally apply the cleanser/scrub directly to my face, then rub the Loofah gently over my face in a circular motion. After a few minutes I rinse my face to remove the remaining cleanser/scrub and pat dry my face.
How to Dry: When left to dry away from a shower/bath they become rigid again until next use. I recommend you change after 2/3 weeks depending on how much you use.
How do you rate Loofahs to a Glove?
